At 1st Church, we do not believe that prayer is "A" ministry of the church, but "THE" ministry of the church. Knowing that prayerlessness is our declaration of independence from God, we seek to make prayer a vital part of every ministry. Our goal is not simply to be a church with a prayer ministry – but a praying church.

Wednesday night is the heart of our prayer ministries. Every wednesday night our auditorium is open for prayer with low lighting and soft music. Every member of our prayer ministry receives a random prayer request form (yellow card) and prays specifically for that need. During the evening, random praise report forms (orange cards) are read to give glory to God.
